Welcome to Shepton Mallet Infants School and Children's Centre website.

Our small school of about 100 children including our Nursery, is conveniently situated in the small market town of Shepton Mallet on the edge of the Mendip hills. We hope you enjoy exploring our website and finding out further information about our school.

Our school is a specialist school for young learners. All our staff members are experts at teaching and supporting young children.

Our facilities and resources cater exclusively for children aged from 0 to 7.
The staff work as a team in order to make the school an attractive, lively place, where every child feels secure as a member of the school family.

Each child is recognised as an individual and an inspiring environment is provided in which every pupil can develop at his or her own pace.

A recent addition to our site has been a brand new Childrens' Centre and our Nursery functions as part of this Centre. Offices & a school hall are also a part of this new building.The Children's Centre provides wrap around child-care for 0-8 year olds, 8:00am -6:00pm (48 weeks of the year).
